For more than five years, I was a commission manager and specialist in setting up CCTV and access control and local area networks at a reputable company in power plants and refineries.
During all this time, given that I was a developer and also had a lot of experience in the field of electricity, electronics and microcontrollers, I worked with this equipment differently. Given this wide view, I can see their software and hardware bugs and defects. Products like Synectics (UK) which I respect for the quality of the work of its developers or Bosch Germany (BIS software) which is very commendable for its stability and hardware performance.
I delved deep into their software and hardware and learned a lot from them. Also, because of the direct connection with those companies, I can share software structural problems and sometimes hardware design with them.
For example, in one case the Synectics joystick driver (this software is written almost entirely in Java) I helped the team. These experiences made me interested in producing software in these fields. I built Star Access and Star NVR with the same vision. Star NVR is a comprehensive software for connecting Client Servers to CCTV cameras. To display live videos on clients, and save videos in special formats and compress on PSN servers and play videos, and of course control the movement and wipe and wash the cameras (in process-cameras) with the commands from the Server.
Some sites have more than 300 cameras and one or two control rooms. Star Access is a great access control software, with our controller hardware designed to be compatible with many standard access devices such as door locks, door contacts, push buttons and EBG (emergency break glass), barriers, keyboard , Card reader, fingerprint, face recognition etc …
Now I’m going to bridge the connection between these two software so the live videos on each side of the site has an access control alarm and helps the security team.
